Hello

I was your classic book worm growing up - bringing whatever book I was reading to family events, staying up past bedtime to read with a flash light in hand, and enjoying pretty much any book I picked up. For the longest time I thought I was going to be an English teacher and author when I grew up. During senior year of high school my life trajectory changed when I took general chemistry and was inspired to pursue a science major. Despite becoming pre-med and going to medical school, my love for reading and writing never faded. Through my experience in medical school and becoming a parent to my daughter, I was inspired once again, this time to write my first children's book that would blend my science background with the affirmations I believe every child should hear. I plan to continue writing and to challenge myself to explore varying styles and genres, but to always keep an encouraging message and positive tone.
